Cheese Potato Casserole
- 32 oz. frozen hash browns (Southern Style)
- 1/2 cup chopped red onion
- 16 oz. Cheese Whiz
- 8 oz. Sour Cream
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 can cream of celery soup or cream of chicken or 1/2 of both
- 2/3 cup milk
- Parmesan cheese to flavor
- Preheat oven to 325°
- Mix all ingredients in large bowl except for potatoes
- Add potatoes - Mix well
- Pour into greased 13x9x2 pyrex pan
- Bake 1 hour at 325°(glass) or 350°(metal)
- OPTION: Melt 1/2 stick butter in 2 cups Corn Flakes or crumbled chips and
sprinkle over top before baking
